Medical/Dental Insurance – Space Coast Truss, Inc. (SCT) provides major medical and hospitalization at a $50 cost for the employee. There is a $175 per month charge for an additional eligible dependent. If you enroll two or more eligible dependents, the cost is $200 per month. The premium can be reduced by $50 per month if you and your enrollees are not tobacco users. Dental insurance, which includes a vision plan, is also available at your expense. You must be employed at SCT for at least three months to be eligible for these plans, and coverage starts on the first day of the month following eligibility.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - Currently, the Company contributes a percentage of your wages into an ESOP trust in your name after you have been employed for at least one year. It is a retirement plan. There are no deductions from your wages for this plan, it is 100% funded by the Company. It takes six years for full vesting. The percentage amount contributed is determined annually.

401(k) - We also provide you with an opportunity to participate in our 401(k) plan. From 1% to 12% of your pay may be deferred. You are eligible for enrollment after one year of service. The company’s Board of Directors determines if the company will match on an annual basis. The company’s contribution also vests as in the ESOP. Employees are eligible after completing one year of service and attaining age 21.

Life Insurance – SCT provides an insurance policy for $25,000 payable in the event of your death. This becomes effective on the first day of the month following your completion of three months of employment. Only those employees that are enrolled in a Medical Insurance plan, either through Space Coast Truss or through another provider, are eligible for the life insurance coverage.

Vacation - Full time, non-exempt employees earn one week's vacation after completion of nine months of employment. A second week is earned after eighteen months of employment. Thereafter, employees are entitled to one week of vacation every six months, up to the fifth year, then the entitlement becomes one week every four months.

Employee Assisted Housing (EAH) – Our full time employees are eligible to apply for home purchase assistance. We offer up to 5% of the published purchase price towards a down payment of a new Mercedes Homes home. The down payment assistance portion requires a 5 year second mortgage whereby the payments are forgiven each successive year the employee stays with our Company. Eligibility is one year of continuous employment.
